Memory Stick PRO DUO is a fast, compact memory card designed for mobile applications in the broadband era.

Memory Stick PRO DUO is a third of the volume and half the weight of the standard Sony Memory Stick and offers users a high-speed data transfer of up to 160Mbps, making it more suitable for speedy data transfer among a wide range of mobile electronic devices such as digital still cameras, mobile phones, PCs, PDAs, gaming platforms such as the Play Station Portable (PSP) and more.

By attaching an adaptor, Memory Stick Pro Duo cards can also be used in products that are compatible with standard Memory Stick PRO media.

Sony MemoryStick PRO DUO is designed to be highly resistant to shock and vibration due to its solid-state construction and no moving parts.
